Rowad Tourism swings to losses in 6 months (25 August 2022) Rowad Tourism (Al Rowad) (ROTO) turned to losses during the first six months of 2022, according to the consolidated financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 25th. The company reported a consolidated loss attributable to the parent company of EGP 42.035 million in the six-month period ended June 30th, compared to a profit of EGP 1.664 million during the same period a year earlier. As for standalone financials, Rowad recorded a net loss after tax of EGP 36.801 million in the January-June period, versus a net profit of EGP 5.271 million in the year-ago period. Rowad is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the tourism industry.
